How shall I start To write
words from my heart
It seeks to convey

Calloused

Do not tempt me to say
What will hurt the foolish you
My lips are sealed
and so are your truth
There is no reason
Why I must succumb
For I do not say yes
to falsity and lies..

I am calloused..

Here is the sin
So is the sinner
You are the judge
Render your judgment

Upright and taintless?

The perfectionist mentor
Rater of characters

Characters masked
Superficially adjudged
Labeling is a crime
A sin of biased regime

Facaded with conceit
Just and objectivity
Absent in actuality

We all sin
Humanity errs
In perfect harmony
A truth that must be told
Not in masks

A sinner is a man
His flaws inherent
His imperfections
Assess and comprehend

Assert Justice
For compassion
Judge not misjudge
You and I

Kitty Cat

Another feline
Another line
The usual description
The usual joy
But my cat is different
From my viewpoint
If that is so
Here is my point

Kitty cat was lost
Sometime last year
My daughter saw him
Hungry and cold
She hid him outside
Thinking I'd be mad
I didn't like pets
Reminds me of the past
I had one but lost
Avoiding pain again
To haunt me till the end

"Mommy, he is different"
Said my son one day
Try another pet
No reason to fret
Our new cat is cute
Let's call him kitty cat..

Who am I to say
No, my son you can't
I am a mother
Who wants to make his day
So there I go one day
Welcomed kitty and said,
"All right my son, you won"
Kitty cat shall be at home..

One day kitty cat got sick
He slept all day
Never stood up to eat
He had fever and infection
from a wound that needed medication
Antibiotic was the prescription

I took the dropper
Thought of making him better
Gave him medicine
To revive his condition
Thanks to God
He became well and fine
That was the day
I had to say
I shall never put kitty away

I look at myself
In the mirror before me
I see no face
Just my eyes..
dark eyes from

Rocky hills
Ain't smooth roads
From slow steps to haste
A bad day that was
Like a creature gone mad
Life's wheels of red
Fuming heat and mad
Such a rough road
Not good for a lad...

The mercury of time
Paleness under the storm
Caught in a web
Of time and space
Of rough road and haste..

Careful steps
To free the mind

The Night

Looking at myself
Before a vast space
Surrounded by walls
But not in a race..

I could see visions
of strong will and passion
The search for truth
When the light is out
When the darkness clouds
The mind can't rest

Inside my room
I lie awake..
Where is the light?
I asked myself..

A question..
Why my mind won't rest
Absent in daylight
But rules in the dark
A QUESTION ON HUMANITY..
That you and I share...

Beyond the logic of time and space
There is a cave of wondrous caste
Grouping unanswered tones of myths
Grasping for truth
Like life against death...

One vision before my eyes
Sees a soul searching for answers
Lost in the forest
Where evil lurks in whispers
Afraid of the unknown
Controlled by the known
Answers come in time
As the youth feel imprisoned
Age and answers take time to form..

Tell me in your deepest thoughts
why day and night come without pause?
why life is like the black and white?
why for me dark is my knight?

Is it because it is my own
Just like a woman called Eden
Who loved her life
She choose her path
Not like yours or mine
But her very own...
Unmindful if it will end
in fortune or fame..

The night has a million thoughts
Darkness is not an absence of light..
It is a light in the dark...

It is your time
Your sweet domain
A reflection of your silent soul
A room sans walls..

To use your senses
It all starts in the dark
