Hush my child hush
Wipe your tears
From your pretty face
Let mother embrace
your gentle soul
Hush my child hush
I am here
Right by your side
Tears of my child
Cut deep inside
Akin to a thunder strike
Akin to a needle in vein
Those tears
Must be stopped
They weaken me inside
They halt my breathe
My life in a stand still
I speak as a mother
Like the one I saw
A dying mom
Embraced by her son
Such a sight
Against my might
The tears of a child
Is a mother's death
A mother's pain..
May this poem convey
The "child" is us
we never grow old
with our youthful heart
memories parade
from the golden past
the most vivid of which
comes from
the tears of a child...
Motherhood feels and molds
The tears of our child
is an agony untold
As a mother, this I vow
I shall raise my child
with love and hope
Paint joy
and a smile
in her lips
and never tears
on her eyes..
