Do not tempt me to say
What will hurt the foolish you
My lips are sealed
and so are your truth
There is no reason
Why I must succumb
For I do not say yes
to falsity and lies..

I am calloused..
I feel no pain
For my heart is filled
with truth and joy..

  1. For the sake of love, there are times the foolish in me needs to be hurt, or perhaps more appropriately spanked or admonished. I write too often as if I know it all; I have also poo pooed every religion man has ever invented. If Allah were a religious God, I would be dead by now. Yet I know there are millions who would fear to come near to the Light of Allah, without being fully dressed in the trappings of their native religions, no matter how primitive that may be. And primitive seems to be more appealing, as most organized religions tend to grow into cancerous monsters, more intent on serving and glorifying themselves, than to be a humble light and guide post to the children of Allah.

  2. A heart that has been hurt before becomes inured to further pain or deceptive words by insincere souls. What a brilliant poem expressing the emotions of your soul. We learn from past mistakes and we strive to walk with our heads unbowed for we have learned our lessons well. Thanks for the exquisite poem. God bless.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR CARING TO COMMENT ON MY ARTICLE. Have a nice day and God bless. -Bai Maleiha B. Candao

Thanks To My Dear Readers...

When thoughts are shared with those who care..
it unburdens the mind and frees the soul..

It reaches all points
of the universe.. for life
is a connection of similarities among those
who love life and its essence...

Even as a stranger I know.. we value the
importance of self-expression, of love and
all its beauty.. for we live in one world...
and like the rest, our souls travel to find
meaning in some images...

Just by knowing that my thoughts have
touched you.. That is enough to make me
